Springfield Lucky Horseshoes

The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes, formerly the Sliders, have been a fixture in the Prospect League since its inception in 2009. Playing their home games at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois, and led by General Manager Jamie Toole and Field Manager Brad Gyorkos (2024), the Lucky Horseshoes aim to bring exciting summer baseball to the Springfield community.

While they haven’t yet clinched a Prospect League Championship, the Lucky Horseshoes have made four playoff appearances (2010, 2016, 2022, 2023) and recently captured the 2023 Wabash River Division Championship. Their best season came in 2016 with a 39–20 record.
