The Catfish welcome Eddie White!
Eddie White, from Kansas City, Mo. attended Bishop Miege HS and signed last fall to play baseball for the Redhawks. In his freshman season he saw quite a bit of action. He appeared in 13 games, 4 as a midweek starter. White threw a total of 21 innings and ended with a 5.57 era. He struck out 16 and walked 4 and opponents batted .311 against him.
White is looking for an opportunity to get some innings in for the Catfish in June. Semo is expecting big things next season from him and he’s hoping to start the success this summer in Cape.
In his first action with the Fish, White pitched a scoreless 9th to get his first save and preserve the home opener at O’Fallon.
