THREE RIVERS COLLEGE: The 5′ 11″ infielder played three seasons at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Mo… played 123 games during his three seasons there, hitting .294 in 377 at-bats… had 25 doubles, one triple and 13 home runs in his career… last season he hit .276 with 16 doubles and seven home runs…Poorman is in his first season atEastern Illinois and is already making his presence known. The Panthers are 13-6 and Poorman is batting .333 with 11 hits, 2 doubles, 2 home runs and 9 rbi’s.
Kolten is a fan favorite with the Catfish as he is the only player who has played every summer in a Catfish uniform. This will be his 3rd stint with the fish and his leadership on and off the field are a big reason GM Mark Hogan is excited to have him back. Poorman played a pivotal role in 2021 when the Catfish won the Prospect League Championship.
