Jeff Clarke – 6’1″ – 190lb, Junior Outfielder from the Dallas, Texas area … he bats left, throws right … playing in his first season at Belmont … came to Nashville from Fort Scott CC where he had a very good 2022 campaign. Belmont has been a great school for the Catfish as we’ve had players from that pipeline every season.
2023 (Belmont University): In his first season with the Bruins he’s picked up where he left off last season … impressive .292 BA, with 26 hits, 20 runs scored … he has some power from the left side as 15 of his 25 hits have been for extra bases including 9 double, 1 triples and 5 home runs … he’s knocked in 21 and has swiped 6 bags in 6 attempts.
2022 (Fort Scott CC): Named KJCCC Honorable Mention … Played in 36 games, batting .364 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs … Scored 33 runs and stole one base … Finished with a .727 slugging percentage … Helped team go 32-26
2021 (Fort Scott CC): Played in 26 games, batting .276 with one home run and 16 RBIs … Drew 17 walks and finished with a .406 on-base percentage … Finished 6-for-7 on stolen base attempts … Scored 19 runs
