Jack Ellis is a 6’1″, 210lb everyday outfielder for the Screaming Eagles…..in his junior campaign through 39 games he’s batting .267…..he has 27 hits, 22 runs scored and 23 rbi’s…..he’s hit 4 doubles, 1 triple and 3 home runs as well as drawn 24 walks……he’s also got 3 SB in 4 attempts.
2022:
Ellis transferred to University of Southern Indiana from Campbell University after one season…appeared in seven games off the bench, batting .375 in eight at-bats…
2021:
Ellis played one season at John A. Logan College, hitting .342 with six home runs in 79 career at-bats
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball at Jeffersonville….was a two-time All-Conference player and twice named honorable mention All-State….helped lead Jeffersonville win four conference titles and two sectional championships.…batted .398 with seven home runs, seven doubles and 35 RBIs during his senior season…batted above .360 all three years of varsity baseball.
PERSONAL: Son of Derek and Jennifer Ellis…his brother Drew played baseball at the University of Louisville and is currently in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, while his brother Ian played baseball at Kentucky Wesleyan College.
