The Cape Catfish Welcome Dee Triplett!
Dee Triplett from the Malden, Mo. has had a successful college career. In his sophomore campaign 2021/2022, he appeared in 49 games. In 143 AB’s he had 54 hits and had a .378 batting average. He hit for some power as well with seven doubles and nine home runs with 46 runs scored and 36 runs batted in. He walked 52 times and struck out 29, stealing 7 bases without being caught. His .552 on base % was 4th best on the team. His defense was above average as well, committing only 4 errors all season.
2023 – Triplett took his talents to the NAIA Cumberland University Phoenix. The 6′ 1″ 250lb left handed hitting infielder has played in all 42 games and is having another impressive season for the 31-11 Phoenix. In 134 at bats he has 51 hits and has scored 53 runs. His power numbers are up this year with 14 doubles a triple and 14 home runs (3rd most). He has a .381 batting average and a .494 on base%. His 64 rbi’s are tops on the team. He is flashing leather again this season with only 6 errors in 212 chances.
