The Cape Catfish Welcome, Caden Bogenpohl!

Caden Bogenpohl is our second Jackson Indian and is part of a very talented Jackson MO Indians baseball team.  He is a 2 way starter playing in the outfield as well as a top line starter from the right side.   He is a two-time all state, 4 year varsity starter for the Indians who is committed to Missouri State University in the fall.  He earned second-team all-state honors his sophmore year hitting .364 with a .517 on-base % and a .670 slugging figure with 4 homeruns, 27 rbi’s and 26 walks in 31 games.  He is the 2nd ranked outfielder and the #17 ranked overall player in Missouri.  His junior year he was first team all-state as a pitcher, striking out 72 batters in 39.2 innings with a 1.90 ERA and a .131 opponent batting average.  A repeat first-team all-conference and all-district pick last season, he posted a .405/.495/.838 slash line with seven homers, 29 rbi’s, 16 walks and 28 runs.

In 2022 Caden attended the Power Showcase Home Run Derby in Marlins Park, Miami, Florida in which he won the event with 19 Homeruns.  His longest went 503 feet, breaking the old mark set by big leaguer Bryce Harper.  Bogey stands at 6′ 5″, 230lbs.  He has a big bat and big arm and was recently clocked at 94 mph from the bump.  Caden also plays during the summer with the Adidas Athletics, a highly talented summer baseball program.
