The Cape Catfish Sign Brayden Lackey as Assistant Coach!

The Cape Catfish welcome Pennsylvania native, Brayden Lackey, as an Assistant Coach for the 2023 campaign.

Brayden has a strong coaching background including being the assistant hitting coach for the Prospect League’s Johnstown Mill Rats for the 2021 Season.

Lackey will join first year Manager Scott Little on the field, May 31st, as they open the season on the road against the O’Fallon Hoots! The Catfish’s first home game is Saturday, June 3rd, versus the Jackson, Tennessee Jackrabbits. The game will take place at 6:35 PM at Capaha Field!

Catfish General Manager, Mark Hogan commented, “We welcome Brayden to the Catfish Family. His experience as a coach in the Prospect League will be very valuable to the new staff.”
