Cindy Gannon joined the Catfish in the fall of 2018 after serving 31 years at Southeast Missouri State University. She was SEMO’s head volleyball coach for 16 seasons, where she accumulated 366 career victories, the most in program history. Her teams won eight Ohio Valley Conference regular-season titles and five OVC Tournament crowns. SEMO won the OVC five years in a row from 1993-97. Her teams made Six NCAA Tournament appearances and had a first round win over North Carolina in 2000.  Gannon was named the OVC Coach of the Year a total of four times throughout her career (1993, 1995, 1996, 1999). She coached five OVC Players of the Year and one Freshman of the Year. 

 Gannon transitioned from coaching to administration in 2005 and served two stints as the Redhawks interim Director of Athletics. She was also the Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at Southeast. Gannon has served on various National Committees including the Division I National Volleyball Committee and is has been extremely active in the Cape Girardeau community.   She has been inducted into three Hall of Fames including her a high School Alma mater, Southeast Missouri State University and the Ohio Valley Conference. 

Gannon manages game day operations, hires game day staff, implements the internship process, oversees ticketing, assist with host families and oversees the day to day office management.
