Andrew Stone became a household name in his first season with the Cape Catfish as he blistered the Prospect League with a .397 batting average.  He also hit for power as he belted 16 home runs and had 49 RBI’s.  He was chosen as the 2019 Prospect League Player of the Year and played in the Prospect League All Star game.

Stone returned to the Catfish for a second summer in 2021 and posted an impressive .333 average while leading the Catfish to its first PROSPECT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP in only their second season in the league.

His all-time career numbers in 2 summers for the Catfish are a stunning.  He played in 87 games, had a .365 batting average, belted 25 Home Runs and tallied 88 RBI’s.

Stoney, as the players and fans called him, was a leader in the dugout and a fan favorite!  An easy choice to be inducted into the Catfish Hall of Fame.
