Chris Hall returns to the Catfish!
Chris Hall is a familiar name if you follow the Catfish. He was here last season and made an impact on the club. Hall hales from Sandy Springs, GA where he attended Riverwood, HS. His college career started at Florida State College of Jacksonville. Last season he attended Lincoln Memorial University and had a solid junior season.
In 25 games for LMU Hall batted .315. He had 29 hits, 2 doubles, a triple and a home run and drove in 8. The speedster hall stole 6 bases in 7 attempts.
Hall is familiar with Cape Girardeau as he had a good season for the catfish in 2022. he played in 53 games last season, second only behind Kolten Poorman. Hall ended up batting .266, with 50 hits, 6 of those being doubles. He drove in 22 runs and scored a team high 42 runs for the Catfish. Hall was one of the best in the league at swiping bases as he racked up 37 steals and was only caught 4 times.
He has picked up where he left off. In 2 games so far this season, Hall is leading the league with a .700 batting average. He has 7 hits in 10 at bats. He has scored a team high 6 runs, has 5 rbi’s and has swiped 5 bags without being caught. As the Catfish look to get back into the playoffs after barely missing them last season, Hall with play a very big role.
