The Cape Girardeau Catfish Welcome Lane Crowden!
TRANSFER: Comes to USI after two seasons at Three Rivers Community College…batted .258 with seven RBIs, two home runs, and nine stolen bases in 2022…started his collegiate career by hitting .288 with 11 RBIs, four doubles, one triple, and eight stolen bases.
Was injured during the first series this season and has been recovering. Should be back playing for the Catfish in late June. Last season for the Catfish, Crowden had a good season. He was coming of a hand injury and ended up playing shortstop and third base. The Catfish would love to get him healthy for this upcoming season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball at Jackson High School (Jackson, Missouri).
PERSONAL: Son of Nate and Christi Crowden.
