Catfish team up with TicketSmarter
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – May 26, 2023 – TicketSmarter and the Cape Catfish announced an
agreement today that makes TicketSmarter the official ticket resale marketplace partner of the Catfish.
“We are proud to support the Cape Catfish and its fan base as we expand our roster of Prospect League and collegiate partners,” TicketSmarter CEO Jeff Goodman said. “We look forward to developing a strong relationship and providing an elevated ticketing experience for Catfish fans.”
As the official ticket resale marketplace, TicketSmarter will gain exclusive marketing and sponsorship
rights for the Catfish and give fans a safe, trusted platform where they can buy and sell tickets. The Catfish join a growing list of 300-plus colleges and universities, as well as more than 35 conferences, in the U.S. partnering with TicketSmarter. The Catfish become the sixth Prospect League team to join in the last year.
“We are excited to partner with such an innovative partner like TicketSmarter,” said Catfish president Glenn Campbell. “They approached the Prospect League a year ago and we waited to see how other teams felt using them. After doing our homework, we felt they were the right fit for us.” The Cape Catfish wouldn’t divulge the details of the agreement other than to say it is an exclusive, multi-year deal that includes a sponsorship element.
