At this point the Catfish were sitting comfortably with a 6-2 lead going into the fifth.

In the fifth inning the Catfish drove in three more runs including an RBI single from Owen Mandler (Seton Hill University) and a sacrifice fly from Cooper Newsom (Harding University). With a 9-2 lead the River Dragons cracked back scoring two more runs in the top of the 6th as  William’s made his  last appearance of the night.
